Here’s what has happened in the last month and what’s to come!

Welcome to the second issue of Bay City Players’ newsletter! We have had quite a successful month, closing out our collaboration with The Friction Theatre, casting and beginning the rehearsal process for our Youtheatre production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr., and introducing new programs and events to our theatre!

As we wrap up our partnership with The Friction Theatre, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the theatre-lovers in the tri-city area that came out to support Bay City Players and The Friction Theatre in our production of Nunsense. This was truly a great experience for everyone involved and we look forward to continued collaboration with The Friction Theatre!

We are happy to announce that we recently received a grant from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council to aid in the efforts of repairing our back parking lot! This grant will help us accomplish a much needed project that will greatly improve our facility.

We are still collecting donations for our Together in CommUNITY campaign, with our first partnership being with the Bay Area Women's Center! Read on to see how you can help make a difference for this organization.

Michigan Arts and Culture Council Grant

Help us match our grant received from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council! Earmark your contribution to Bay City Players' Building Fund to help us repair our back parking lot.

As it currently stands, our back parking lot is in need of repair due to deep potholes and unstable walking grounds. During Michigan's intense winters, these potholes fill with ice, leading to dangerous conditions. We are grateful to have received a $15,000 grant from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council to help us fund this necessary project.

The total cost of this project is estimated to be over $60,000. After our grant, all project costs will come from our Building Fund.
